Give colleagues their own login, decide what they may do through roles, and see what they have been up to.
Every user signs in with their own e-mail address and gets a role that decides which parts of the account they can open. Each user takes up one seat in your subscription, so the number of users affects your price.
Adding a user
- Click "Create a new user" and fill in the name and the e-mail address the user will sign in with.
- Pick a user role. Administrator and User are built in; roles you created yourself are listed too. You can change it later from the user's settings.
- Pick the timezone the user works in. Scheduled sends and reports are shown in that timezone.
- The user receives an e-mail with a link to set a password and sign in.
Managing an existing userOpen a user from the list. The tabs let you change their name, login address, role and timezone (Settings), decide whether they receive system e-mails (Preferences), allow or block their API access (API center) and see what they have done in the account (Activity).
Which role should I pick?Admin has full access and can create their own users, which makes it the recommended role for a separate department or team. User can work with campaigns, contacts and reports but cannot change account settings or users. Custom roles you created under Roles are listed here too. Only an admin can hand out the Admin and User roles.
Why can't I add another user?
Your subscription has reached its seat limit. Remove a user you no longer need, or upgrade the subscription under Billing to add more seats.
What does "Sign in as" do?
After confirming, it opens the account as that user so you see exactly what they see. Sign out to return to your own account.
Can I edit my own account here?
No. Your own name, e-mail address and timezone live under Settings, account.
