How all your campaigns performed together over a period: totals and rates compared with the period before, your bounce health, sending activity per day and how your lists grew.

Open Statistics → Account statistics. Pick a period at the top right; every figure on the page, the charts and the export describe that same period. The dashboard shows a smaller version with sent, unique openers, unique click rate and list growth, and links through to the full page.

Periods

Choose the last 7, 30 or 90 days, this or last month, or this or last quarter. Every period ends at the start of today, so today itself is never included: its figures are still coming in. Days follow your account's time zone.

The cards

  • Unique openers: how many people opened at least one of your campaigns, with the share of all recipients you reached.
  • Sent: emails sent, and in how many campaigns.
  • Delivered: emails that arrived, with the share of sent.
  • Unique click rate: the share of recipients who clicked, with the number of people who clicked.
  • Click-to-open rate: of the people who opened, the share who also clicked.
  • Bounce rate: bounces as a share of sent, split into hard and other bounces.
  • Unsubscribe rate: unsubscribes as a share of delivered, with the number of unsubscribes.

Each card has a chip with the change against the period just before, of the same length: a percentage for counts, percentage points (pt) for rates. For bounce and unsubscribe rate a fall is shown green, because lower is better. "No comparison" means the period before had no campaigns to compare with. Sent, delivered, bounce rate and unsubscribe rate also show a small line of how they moved through the period.

📘

Bounce health

The banner above the cards judges your bounce rate over the period: healthy below 2%, needs attention from 2% to 5%, critically high above 5%. It turns grey when no campaign finished sending in the period, since there is nothing to judge yet. Mailbox providers trust senders with a low bounce rate, so a high one is worth acting on: clean up old and invalid addresses.

Sending activity

Bars show how many emails you sent per day, and two lines show the bounce and unsubscribe rate of that day. A campaign counts in full on the day it finished sending, so a campaign that went out over three days shows as one bar. On days without a finished campaign the lines have a gap rather than dropping to 0%. Periods longer than 31 days are shown per week. Hover a bar for campaigns, sent, delivered, bounces and unsubscribes of that day.

List growth

New contacts per day above the line, unsubscribes below it, and a line with the running net total. Beside the title you see the net change of the period and how many contacts more or fewer that is than the period before. The down side counts unsubscribes only: contacts that hard bounce or file a spam complaint are not in it.

Exporting

  1. Pick the period you want to export.
  2. Open Export next to the period picker.
  3. Choose Data (CSV) for every figure against the period before, the campaign figures per day and list growth per day. Or choose a chart as PNG, with its title and dates on the image, ready for a report.

Why does the open rate here differ from the one on a campaign?

They answer different questions. A campaign's open rate divides its opens by its own delivered emails. Unique openers here counts each person once over the whole period, however many of your campaigns they opened, and divides by the number of people you reached. Someone who gets four campaigns and opens one counts as one opener here. That is why the account page names it unique openers, and the two are not meant to add up.

Someone is on two of my lists. Do they count twice?

Yes. Each list membership is its own contact, so the same email address on two lists counts as two people in unique openers and in list growth. With one audience, as most accounts have, a contact is a person.

Why does it say this period has no completed days yet?

Periods end at the start of today. "This month" on the first of the month therefore has no finished day yet. Its figures appear tomorrow; pick "Last month" to look back meanwhile.

A figure for last week changed. Is that right?

It can be. Late opens, clicks and bounces keep arriving after a campaign finished, and deleting contacts removes them from list growth. When the page says some late activity is still being processed, the figures may be slightly low for a while.

I don't see account statistics. Why not?

Account statistics are part of the Premium plan. Without it the page and the dashboard show what you would get, with a button to email our sales team; they switch your plan for you, usually the same day. You also need permission to view campaigns.
