Completing your setup

Three short steps to send campaigns from your own business email address instead of the demo address.

The three steps

Welcome: your account is verified. You can already send test emails from the demo address. Choose "Complete setup" to continue, or "Go to demo" to look around first.
Sender address: enter the email address your campaigns should come from, preferably one on your own company domain (for example [email protected]). The preview shows how it appears in an inbox.
Verification: confirm the address through the email we send you, and add the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to your domain. The page checks the records automatically and ticks them off once they are found.

Not the one managing your domain?
Most organisations let their web administrator or hosting party handle DNS. Copy the records from the verification step and send them over; you can finish the setup and start working in the meantime.

How long does DNS verification take?

Usually a few minutes, but DNS changes can occasionally take up to 24 hours to come through. You do not need to keep the page open: we email you as soon as the records are recognised.

Can I add more sender addresses later?

Yes. Add and verify extra addresses under Settings → Sender addresses at any time.

What if I skip the setup?

You can explore MailCamp and send test emails from the demo address. To send campaigns to your contacts you need a verified sender address; the get-started checklist on the dashboard takes you back to it.
